Synopsis
Abolition Conversations is a series of short videos featuring community stewards, activists, artists, and people impacted by mass incarceration. Each episode is a new conversation between two people who are searching for remedies for a country addicted to incarceration. Abolition Conversations is a multi-year project, filming conversations in Philadelphia, PA, New Orleans, LA, and Green Bay, WI.
The videos will be a tool to bring people together to talk about alternatives to violent policing, criminalization, and mass incarceration. Community organizations are invited to screen episodes for free and utilize our discussion guide (coming soon!) to spark conversations and share ideas.
